The manorial Domaine Sainte-Anne is an old lorship estate located in Sainte-Anne-de-la-Perade, Quebec, on North Shore of Saint Lawrence river, in Mauricie, in Quebec, in Canada. This manorial site includes the ruins of the old manor house. In 2010, this historical site was quoted Heritage Site by the Municipality of Sainte-Anne-de-la-Perade, Quebec. Since 2003, the site presents a permanent exhibition "When the story is told ..." (French: Quand l'histoire se raconte). This exhibition traces the story of three famous people who inhabited the "Domaine seigneurial": Madeleine de Vercheres, the defendant of Fort Vercheres, Elizabeth Hale, wife of the English bourgeois politician John Hale, as well as Honoré Mercier, former Premier of the Quebec from 1887 to 1891. Since 1995, the site is run by the "Society of Madeleine Verchères site" (Frenche: Société du site Madeleine de Verchères). The mission of the hosts is to conserve, manage, facilitate and promote the historical site. Every summer, a temporary art exhibition is also presented in the lobby of the "manorial Domaine Sainte-Anne". == See also == * Lordship of Sainte-Anne-de-la-Perade 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Saint-Anne Seignorial Estate」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
